    Chris’ Coffee Beans Mobile APP

As a personal project, I created a simple E-Commerce app for a fictional business, which I got an idea for a persona and a business from Random Project Generator.

This project was designed entirely using Figma.

    Project Brief

The goal here was to not let my personal preferences or experience dictate what kind of project I create, so I took the first prompt created by the project generator.

    Taskflow

In creating the task flow, I did a bit of research on what an MVP for an E-Commerce app would require, and then mapped out a simple user flow in Figma for each page.

    Lo-Fi Design

Once I had my user flow, I began creating a low-fi design with place holder images. Using the Figma I-Phone template, basic placeholder colors and a basic six column grid to guide the layout of my screens.

    Color Palette

For color palettes, I used the Coolers tool, and started with a few colors associated with some other coffee brands based on a bit of online searching, and came up with a few base colors, shade colors and highlight colors. Most colors weren’t used in the Hi-Fi, but the palette selection was intended to be available for future iterations.

    Font

For fonts, it took of bit of time time to find fonts that worked together, but sing Google Fonts, I could a few that seemed to evoke the feeling I was going for based on my original prompt.

    Hi-Fi Design

Hi-Fi designs remained a bit simple, but used the colors created and replaced the fonts!
